The winning lottery numbers in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing are 9, 43, 57, 60 and 64. Red ball is 10.
The jackpot is an estimated $206 million.
On Saturday, a ticket sold at Woodbridge gas station matched five numbers. The truck driver who made the purchase won $1 million. Two other $1 million tickets were sold — one in Illinois and one in Pennsylvania.
In addition to the $1 million New Jersey ticket, one matched four numbers and the Powerball and is worth $50,000. It was bought at Krauszer’s in Fair Lawn.
No one has hit the jackpot since Dec. 17. That evening, a Pennsylvania couple who purchased their ticket in Delaware won the $121.6 million prize. Delaware allows lottery winners to remain anonymous.
The husband told officials he’s been buying tickets since the Delaware Lottery launched in 1975. They chose the cash option and wound up winning $72.5 million before taxes.
The jackpot for the twice-weekly drawing has rolled over 12 times since then.
Last year ended with seven Powerball jackpots being won, down from 12 in 2015.
The odds of a $2 ticket hitting the jackpot are more than 292 million to 1. It’s roughly a 11,688,053 to 1 shot to match five numbers but not the Powerball.
Powerball is played in 44 states, Washington, D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
